About Owners

Ed and Dorothy Rembert began their storage business in 2002 in the Ranchitos section of San Carlos. Their mission was to provide a secure & clean environment with friendly personal service, while their customers knew any property stored with them would be safe under their care.

Ed and Dorothy moved to San Carlos in 1999 from Las Vegas. Dorothy is a registered nurse from Alberta, Canada and did geriatric and hospice nursing in Las Vegas. Ed owned and operated a Custom Auto Restoration Shop, specializing in 1940', 50's and 60's American Special Interest Automobiles in Las Vegas.

Many finished cars appeared in Las Vegas shows, casinos and movies for Walt Disney, Jerry Lewis and Debbie Reynolds. His favorite was a 1959 Cadillac de Ville convertible which was featured in a movie "Pink Cadillac" staring Clint Eastwood. Ed also worked in this movie driving a car in a chase scene.

In 2006, Ed and Dorothy moved into their present location in the Ranchitos on the main road to Loma Del Mar and the Community Church. This larger location provides more room for their storage, sales, services, general repairs and dog boarding. PS. They speak perfect English!
